Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Dwelling Finders Limited’s Narok marketplace, member accounts, listings, enquiries and community features. By creating an account or using an account-only feature, you agree to these Terms and the addendum for the activity you choose. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.

1. The service

Dwelling Finders helps people discover local homes, stays, restaurants, shops and service providers, and helps them contact one another. We may review, moderate, rank, suspend or remove listings and accounts to operate the service. A verification badge or approval means only that the stated review step was completed; it is not a guarantee of title, safety, quality, availability, suitability, licensing or a successful transaction.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

Give accurate details, protect your password, and tell us promptly if you believe your account was accessed without permission. You must be legally able to make the commitments you enter. Do not impersonate another person, misuse personal information, upload material you have no right to share, disrupt the service, mislead other members, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict or close access where reasonably needed for safety, security, legal compliance or these Terms.

3. Marketplace and transactions

Listings and provider profiles are supplied by their listers. Dwelling Finders is a discovery and enquiry platform, not a party to a lease, stay, meal, sale or professional engagement. Unless the site explicitly states otherwise, it does not take payment or confirm bookings. Verify identity, availability, price, authority, licences, cancellation rules and all other terms directly with the provider. Inspect a property before paying and use a payment method you trust. Do not send money because a listing or badge appears on this site.

4. Lister terms

As a lister, you confirm that you are authorized to publish your submission and that it is accurate, lawful and not misleading. You are responsible for keeping prices, availability, services, terms and contact details current, responding appropriately to enquiries, obtaining required permissions, and honouring commitments you make to customers. You grant Dwelling Finders a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and promote submitted materials as needed to operate and market the service. You retain ownership of your materials. Remove or correct a submission you can no longer honour, or contact us for help.

5. Membership addenda

• Home seekers: a visit request sends the details you enter to Dwelling Finders and the relevant lister so they can respond. A request is not a confirmed viewing or tenancy.
• Property owners: provide accurate property and authority details, cooperate with verification, respond to viewing enquiries and keep listings current. Verification and publication are separate review decisions.
• Hotels, BnBs and restaurants: state clearly what is offered, separate room rates from food or other prices, describe booking and cancellation conditions, and confirm availability directly with the customer.
• Shops: keep product, price and stock information accurate. Order requests are enquiries; agree payment, delivery, collection, warranty and fulfilment directly with the buyer.
• Freelancers: keep skills, rates, portfolio and availability accurate; share only CVs you are entitled to share; and agree scope, timing and payment directly with the client.
• Peer mentors: you must be at least 18 and approved before listener access. Peer support is not clinical care or an emergency service. Follow room rules, confidentiality boundaries, moderation and escalation directions. Do not promise secrecy where safety or law requires escalation.
• Customers: use order and contact features respectfully and agree product or service terms directly with the provider.

6. Community support and AI

Peer rooms have separate participation rules and consent. Custom room messages are sent to Groq for automated language, topic and conduct checks before publication. Optional AI conversations or suggestions are sent to Groq only after the separate choice shown in that feature. AI output can be wrong and is not professional, clinical, emergency, legal or financial advice. Use the urgent support options shown on the support page where appropriate.

7. Intellectual property and availability

The Dwelling Finders service, branding and original site content are protected by applicable rights. You may use the service for its intended personal or business purpose. We may change or suspend features, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee that third-party listings or interactions will meet your expectations. Nothing here limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Complaints, privacy and changes

Contact support@dwellingfinders.co.ke about the service. Our Privacy Notice explains personal-data handling and requests. We may update these Terms; the current version and effective date will be published here. Where a material change affects existing members, we will provide notice through a reasonable available channel. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance where permitted by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, subject to mandatory rights and protections that apply to you.
